Water Falls & Fall Foliage in North Carolina October 8 – 11, 2017
Every year we discuss cutting back the number of workshops we conduct, but this is one we never consider eliminating; actually, we love all the places we conduct workshops which is why we still do them. Working from one central location in Brevard, we will photograph the many waterfalls of North Carolina painted in the glory of fall colors. We have scouted the waterfalls and will avoid those requiring long hikes over difficult terrain; some just aren’t worth the time and difficulty of getting to because once arrived they don’t lend themselves to good photos. We have selected only the ones that are the easiest to reach and best to photograph. It will be a packed four days. It is the prime fall season making for colorful scenics, cascading water with swirling fall leaves, reflections, abstracts and all sorts of nature shots limited only by your imagination. We will help you see what may not appear so obvious to the untrained eye and help you create spectacular photos of waterfalls – a different perspective for instance.
Our lodging will be in a conveniently located motor inn in Brevard where a lite breakfast is provided. We always recommend that you bring snacks to store in your room and/or cooler. There are numerous grocery stores around for stocking up. The cost for this workshop is $745.00. There is no additional fee for non participants. Food and lodging are not included. It is highly suggested that your reservation be made as soon as possible after registering with us and receiving a confirmation which will provide the contact information for the hotel. This is their peak time of year so they book quickly. Also, make sure you tell them you are with our photography group. The workshop will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday the 8th and end at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
