Lemon Lime Bars

From Whole Foods Market Cookbook)
 
Preheat the oven to 350.
Sift:
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour (I like the King Arthur Brand)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Cut into the flour:
2 sticks of real butter (not softened) until it looks like coarse cornmeal
Press: into a 13x9x2 inch pan (do not butter pan)
Bake: for about 20" or until lightly browned. Cool
Beat Together until frothy (1-2 minutes or so):
4 large beaten eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
3 T lemon juice - fresh
3 T lime juice - fresh
1 t grated lemon zest
1 t grated lime zest
 
Set aside:
Mix 1/4 cup flour and 1t baking powder together and then add it to the egg mixture.
Pour this over the baked crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes until set. Cool. Sift powdered sugar over top and serve.
