Old Fashioned Bread ‘Puddin’


You can add cinnamon and raisins or whatever if you’d like.  We like it just this way.  Leftovers are even better.

Grease a 9″ x13″ (or thereabout) baking dish. Set aside.

Mix together in a large bowl:

  • 2 cups of regular milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 eggs

Add:

  • 5 stuffed cups of dry, torn bread pieces. Use the crust too. I just let it sit out for a few hours first.
  • 5 tbs. of melted butter
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla

Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.

It is that easy. Enjoy!
You can use white or wheat.
