April 13 – 17:
Spring in the Great Smoky Mountains, TN
There is not much that can compare to the majesty of the Smoky Mountains – one of the most photographed locations in the country and one of our favorites. They are full of photographic inspirations. This workshop will be four days of almost non-stop shooting of a variety of photo “ops”. . .

NEW!!! April 29 – May 2:
Macros, Wildflowers & Scenics in Cass, West Virginia
Let us take you to a different part of West Virginia; still around the Greenbrier River and Monongahela National Forest, close to our home and removed from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Let us share why we so love the area. You owe it to yourself to see West Virginia in all of its seasonal glory. We’ll shoot along the Greenbrier River Trail, The Cass Railroad and its town, the scenic . . .

May 30:
Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Richmond, VA
This is a half a day workshop starting at 7:00 a.m. and lasting until 11:30 a.m.. We’ll have field time where we’ll demonstrate various techniques for flower and macro shots followed by some classroom instruction and discussion about equipment. We’ll discuss an array of subject to include focus stacking, light and its qualities, equipment . . . .

IT’S BACK!!! July 5 – 7:
Tangier Island off the Eastern Shore, VA
This wonderful island in the Chesapeake Bay has been described as an island out of time. It lends itself to a unique learning experience for all levels of photographers. Known as the soft shell crab capital of the world, it is one of the last places of its kind in the east. . .

October 11 – 14:
Waterfalls and Fall Foliage, NC
Every year we plan on cutting back the number of workshops we give but they are all so great that we just can’t; actually, we added one this year. North Carolina is no exception. Working from one central location in Brevard, we will photograph waterfalls of North Carolina while embraced in the glory of fall colors. . .

November 11 – 14:
Chincoteague, Eastern Shore, VA

If you have heard of the annual pony round up in Assateague, then you should be familiar with Chincoteague, as they are side by side. This is an island on the Eastern Shore, home to the Chincoteague ponies. Seldom do we visit when we do not get to photograph these wonderful creatures. . .
